Meet Dr. Cudney
Dr. Steven Cudney is excited to take care of you and your family! Dr. Cudney earned his undergraduate Biology degree at DePauw University in Greencastle, Indiana and his dental degree from the University of Pittsburgh. He completed an internship in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at The Ohio State University, followed by a four-year residency at West Virginia University. He gained a breadth of exposure to facial trauma, TMJ, reconstructive jaw surgery, dental implants, cosmetic injectables, and anesthesia. Throughout his training, Dr. Cudney enjoyed volunteer opportunities where he could use his skill set to benefit those who need it most, both locally and internationally. He hopes to continue building on both this surgical scope and his commitment to his community. Dr. Cudney is active in his local dental community and serves on the Board of Directors for the Dayton Dental Society. He covers Maxillofacial Trauma call at Miami Valley Hospital, which is a level I trauma facility. He is a clinical instructor for residents at Miami Valley Hospital, including dental residents who are in the midst of their 1-year hospital based general practice residency. Additionally, he is an examiner for the Ohio State Dental Board of Anesthesia where he evaluates dentists and other specialists requesting an office anesthesia permit. Dr. Cudney is a board certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon.
A native of Kalamazoo, Michigan, Dr. Cudney enjoys raising his family in the Dayton community where they can enjoy the Midwestern lifestyle, the many outdoor parks, and cultural assets the Dayton region provides. He spends his time with his growing family: his wife, Christina; son, Finn; daughter, Addy; and new baby on the way.
